We will join the Unitarian Universalist Association's General Assembly to particpate in worship with other Unitarian Universalist congregations throughout the country. Through music, preaching, and ritual, we will ground ourselves in our Unitarian Universalist faith and be renewed for the work of justice, compassion, and community in the world.

Lunch will be served, we'll conduct our congregational business including electing Trustees and examining our budget. After our meeting, we'll have a 3-session workshop where we will envision what we want from Worship, sing hymns together, and develop a plan for congregational life outside of services. There will be no service in Kelseyville.

Why do we pledge?

By Alex Rudy

Our Unitarian Universalist community runs on the dedicated stewardship of our members. When you pledge, you are committing to financially support this UU community throughout the coming year.

Adopting a pledge helps us to plan and allocate resources for the year, making our income predictable. When we pledge, we are opening up more opportunities to support guest speakers and ministers, more opportunities to support our local and broader UU community, and more opportunities to develop new ways to support the search for truth and justice.

Pledging is a simple process - around the time of the annual meeting each year, we'll distribute pledge cards. Simply fill out your card and return it at a service or our annual meeting. Your pledge can be monthly, weekly, or on whatever cadence works best for you. It can be $1 or $500, any amount helps us plan for the future. We are the stewards of our own UU community, and through efforts like this, financial and non-financial, we make this community work.
